These are very informative studies on the impact of buying from local businesses. Even if we cannot always go to a local retailer, whatever we can do to support them is beneficial (for us and our communities). Unfortunately, some cannot afford to purchase locally as much as they would like, as the BIG BOX stores may have lower pricing, be at a more convenient location, etc. Hopefully, those who can afford to do so with more regularity will, making it easier for others to come alongside them in the future.
